Avnet Integrated at Embedded World

Avnet Integrated has been watching the Covid-19 outbreak very closely and our thoughts are with those directly affected by the virus. Our primary concern is always the health and safety of our colleagues and their families, and with this specific concern in mind we have taken the decision to withdraw from Embedded World 2020.

The coronavirus situation has been very fluid, causing many uncertainties about its potential worldwide impact. Embedded World is a very important event in our business calendar and a huge opportunity to grow our business, but with the increasing risk of the spread of Covid-19 and the warnings from the World Health Organization and other professional bodies, we believe we are acting in the best interests of our colleagues in minimizing potential exposure. We also believe that business continuity is an important consideration and want to minimize impact on our Technology Campuses so we can continue to fulfil customer orders. We’re sure our partners and our customers will understand and appreciate this.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we have caused our partners and suppliers. Our booth at Embedded World was going to play host to some exciting examples of our design, creation and integration capabilities. The demonstration pods on the booth were designed to give customers a hands-on experience of our innovation and collaboration between our industry-leading experts and our partners. We plan to share digital content to let customers experience the demonstrations virtually, and will be looking to use the demonstrations at future events.

We would like to thank all of our colleagues, suppliers and partners for their hard work, and hope that the further impact of Covid-19 will be limited.

We look forward to the next opportunity to let our customers and partners get hands-on with Avnet Integrated, and to Embedded World 2021.
