President Avnet Silica

Before becoming President of Avnet Silica, Gilles Beltran, was Vice President Sales & Supplier Management for Avnet Silica. Gilles joined Silica in 2002. Since then he has held a number of different sales positions and quickly advanced from the field to the management. Therefore, he brings with him a strong knowledge of both the electronics distribution business, and the Avnet internal processes.

Trained in sales, and with an electrical engineering degree (Master), Gilles started his career at ON Semiconductor in 2000 as product manager before joining Silica.

Laurent Bizouard

Laurent Bizouard

Vice President Assets

Laurent Bizouard leads Asset, Procurement and Supply Chain Operations for Avnet Silica in EMEA.

Laurent holds a university degree in electronics and spent most of his career at Avnet with various role in Sales, Marketing and Procurement.

He is married, has two grown up children and lives in the regional park of the Chevreuse valley, located southwest of Paris.

Vice President Business Operations, Analytics and Strategy

Tim is responsible for Business Operations, Data Analytics and Strategy at Avnet Silica.

Tim joined Avnet in 1993 and held number finance positions in both EMEA and Asia before becoming Avnet Silica CFO at the business’s creation in July 2001. Tim held that position until August 2015. At that point, he switched to the Avnet TS division as EMEA CFO. Following this division’s sale to TechData Inc in February 2017, Tim supported the integration of the TS Finance team into TechData Inc before returning to Avnet Silica in October 2018.

 

Frank Hansen

Vice President Business Development EMEA

Frank Hansen, as Vice President Business Development, leads the efforts of customer expansion in count and reach through system selling. He drives the acceleration of solutions and customer-driven Communication and Marketing activities.

Before joining Avnet in 2007, Frank worked for leading semiconductor suppliers and distributors holding positions in Sales, as well as Application and Business Development Management.

 

Laurence Dellicott

Laurence Dellicott

Director Fulfillment Sales and Supplier Management

Laurence Dellicott, Director at Avnet Silica, has responsibility for both Fulfilment Sales and Supplier Management in EMEA.

Laurence holds a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. He joined Memec in the UK as a graduate in 1998, and has since held various roles in application support, business development, and regional and EMEA leadership positions.

 

Lucio Fornuto

Director Demand Creation EMEA

As Director Demand creating for EMEA, Lucio leads Avnet Silica’s Demand Creation strategy and technical organization development.

Lucio holds a master degree in electronic engineering, as well as an executive master in business strategy. He joined Avnet in 2007 as Field Application Engineer, and held various other roles throughout the years: From holding responsibilities in the EMEA Technical Marketing Organization, Supplier Business Management, Regional Sales Management, and Regional Technical Leadership. More recently he was responsible for Digital Innovation Development in EMEA.

Before starting at Avnet, he worked as electronic designer and new customers’ business development.

 

Thomas Foj

Director Vertical Markets

Thomas is Head of Vertical Markets EMEA at Avnet Silica.

He is specialist author for Talent Management, Semiconductor Trends and Long-term Supply Solutions in the Automotive industry.

Prior to Avnet Silica, Thomas worked for Atmel, CS CLEAN SYSTEMS, Texas Instruments and Infineon in several international leader roles. He holds a MBA from Pfeiffer University and an international Engineering Diploma.

 

Maryannick Dauba

Regional Vice President Sales for South Europe

As Regional Vice President Sales for South Europe, Maryannick manages the Southern territories (Italy, Spain, France and Belgium) for Avnet Silica. With a degree in International Negotiations, Maryannick speaks several languages after living in Spain, Canada, UK and France.

Before starting with Avnet Silica, she worked in several roles such as Regional Sales Manager, Corporate Accounts Manager or Product Marketing Manager.

Her entire career has been in electronic components Distribution.

Regional Vice President Sales for DACH, Netherlands, Russia

Frank Stephan, Regional Vice President Sales DACH / Netherlands / Russia, manages core territories for Avnet Silica.  

Frank joined Avnet through its acquisition of Memec GmbH in 2005. Since 2015 he has been responsible for Avnet Silica’s Sales activities in Central and Eastern Europe. 

Frank holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from Stuttgart University.

Regional Vice President Sales for Eastern Europe & Middle East

As RVP Sales for Avnet Silica, Tal holds the responsibility for Sales strategy, Business Development and Revenue growth for the emerging Eastern European region and the Middle East (mostly Israel).

Tal, located in Israel, has vast experience in the Semiconductor market being with Avnet since 2001 in different Sales and Sales Management roles.

Prior to his current role with Avnet Silica, Tal served as  the Managing Director of Avnet Israel responsible for all Avnet activities in Israel including the Avnet chip design center known as Avnet ASIC. 

 

Marc McGill

Regional Vice President Sales for North Europe and RSA

Mark has been with Avnet for 15 years where he has been in a number of roles including Business Development, Sales Management and most recently Director of the Avnet Abacus and Avnet Silica combined sales front-end team in the UK & Ireland.  

Before joining Avnet, he spent 9 years working at Vishay based out of the UK working with their distribution network.

HR Business Partner

An Rutten, HR Business partner, provides consultative leadership to Avnet Silica in order to drive business success through people development. An holds a degree in Human Resources and is certified in Change Management (ADKAR), Insights, Predictive Index and DDI.

She joined Avnet in 2000 and provided HR support to Avnet Logistics, Premier Farnell, Avnet Silica, Avnet Abacus, EBV Elektronik, as well as the corporate functions in the Benelux region including a large number of big business projects such as the TS carve-out and project FIT.

 

Rico Dornieden

Business Controller

As Business Controller for Avnet Silica, Rico focuses on the key financial drivers of the business and how they can be improved.

Prior to becoming Avnet Silica Business Controller, he worked as Business Controller and Analyst for Avnet Abacus for over 8 Years. Previously, he spent five years in a similar role at Sun Microsystems.

Rico holds a Master’s degree in business.
